How to Apply
[Step-by-Step Procedure for Admission Process]
Step 1. Generate Student ID:
Student ID (13-digit unique number for every student) is compulsory and needs to be generated once. The candidate has to
generate a unique Student ID (if dont have it already) by clicking on "Generate StudentID" menu option and fill the required details. TheStudent ID will act as Login ID for every activity related with students like Download Roll No for Entrance Test/Counselling/Admission etc. The candidate, who has already generated StudentID in previously, need not regenerate it, he/she can proceed for further regsitration steps sequentially.

Step 2. Login :
The candidate will Login using Student ID and Password. After successful Login, he will be provided "Candidate Area/Dashboard" where different menu options like "Fill Basic Details", "Fill Academic Details", "Course Registration", "Fee Payment", "Print Application Form", "Download Admit Card" etc shall be available.
Step 3. Fill Basic Details :
The candidate needs to fill few important details like Nationality, Domicile etc in this step.
Step 4. Fill Academic Details :
The candidate must fill academic details of different examinations passed. In case, no details regarding Marks Obtained, Total Marks etc of a particular examination is available at the time of filling academic details then candidate is advised to enter "0" instead of leaving the cell blank. The candidates shall be provided the "Editing Option" for filling academic details wilh due course of time as per availability of concerned details.
Step 5. Course Registration :
To register/apply for a course , the candidate must fill course registration form and
he/she must check and ensure his/her eligibility for the course.
During registration, the candidate will be asked to fill Department Name, Course Name, Category etc. and finally submit the details.
The candidate should choose course type UG (Under Graduate courses after 10+2) / FYIC (Five year Integerated Courses after 10+2) / PG (Post Graduate courses after completing Graduation) etc. and course name very carefully.
Please note,category benefits will be given to candidate of Punjab Domicile only. Candidate must select category carefully, once submitted, category is not allowed to change.
To avail benefit of multiple reserved categories for the same course, candidate will have to fill multiple course-registration forms for the same course. Registration Fee for SC/ST (of Punjab) is Rs. 750
and for all other categories it is Rs. 1500.
Registration Fee for B.Tech (based on JEE) is Rs.2500 for all categories.
and Registration Fee for B.Arch.(based on NATA) is Rs.2500 for all categories.
Registration Fee for Foreign/NRI Students is US$ 500.
Registration fee for courses in MYAS department is different.
Registration fee is non-refundable.
For Constituent colleges there is no registration fee.
Step 6. Registration Fee Payment :
After successful Course Registration, the candidate must proceed for payment of Registration Fee . The fee may be paid either in any branch of HDFC Bank throughout India by generating bank challan or through online mode (NetBanking/Credit/Debit Card).
Step 7. Choice Filling:
After successful Course Registration, the candidate has to fill his choices (whereever applicable).
Step 8. Print Application Form :
Once the fee status is confirmed, the candidate may take printout of Application Form. The candidate has to take printout of Application Form every time he updates academic details using "EDIT Option" which will be made available with due course of time.
Step 9. Download Admit Card :
If admission is through "Entrance Test" then candidate is required to download Admit card.
Step 10. Check Result of Entrance Test :
Result of entrance test will be published on the university web site.
Step 11. Counselling :
Qualified candidates are required to appear personally for counselling on the respective counselling date. While coming for counselling candidate must be bring all his/her original certificates along with.
